As you may know, every month for the last several months I have organized a 30 day challenge. People can choose their own goal and/or activity for those 30 days, and we’ve had some awesome things come out of it (someone giving up smoking, drinking, picking up meditation or improving their physical health, etc.).

This time around I wanted to point to the “no snooze” challenge being ran by someone in the community.

I’ve tried in the past to do challenges like, “wakeup at 6am” and found it to be very difficult. Not because waking up at 6am is inherently that difficult, but some days I don’t want to get up so early (like the weekend) or I had to stay up late doing some sort of work.

But the no snooze challenge is beautiful for a few reasons.

  1. It allows you to choose an ideal wakeup time decision every day
  2. You cross it off your list the first thing in the morning
  3. It starts your day with a win

Every day with the no snooze challenge, my first waking thought is, “I’m I going to accomplish my goal today?” and I can get started with a victory. It’s the perfect start to my day.

If you’re struggling to get up in the morning, I recommend it!
