In our interconnected culture enabled by the internet, there are hacks for everything. Growth hacks, marketing hacks, networking hacks, sales hacks…

Honestly, there are just a lot of total hacks.

‘Hacks’ are great for short-term gain. Hacks say, “I’m only concerned with getting to this result as fast as possible and I’m going to sacrifice quality, trust, and the opportunity to form a meaningful connection in order to get it.”

But it turns out, there are no hacks for gaining wisdom and perspective. Those are still gained in the same way that they’ve been gained for centuries: through experience or learning from those who have already earned it.
